Herbalism 101: Wading into the Plant Portal

from $25.00

Join us September 13th from 5pm to 8pm for a conversation
+ slideshow presentation on an introduction Herbalism with
Alyssa Actaea CD(DONA), CLC
Certified Herbal Educator + Clinical Herbalist Student.

Plants are powerful. They have the power to heal and in turn have the power to cause harm. In an age where we are inundated by influencers + snake oil salesmen trying to profit off of the vulnerability of people seeking health + connection it is important for us to discern where we get our information. True herbal knowledge is learned in community - in community with not only people but the plants themselves too. In this workshop we will touch on different types of herbalism, scope of practice, pathways to place, public health, ecology, ritual, history, plant virtues and so much more.

Lecture + Q+A will last 2 hours with time for a tea tasting afterward.

This is limited to 15 spots.
