What is Actaea Holistic? Long story short?

BIRTH + BOTANY.

Where the intersections of my passions meet. 

This feels vulnerable, but I’m not perfect and I’m sure these thoughts aren’t either. I don’t consider myself a writer but here I am, baring it all to you - who ever you are - however you’ve found yourself here.

I have a great appreciation of and fascination with the emergence of life + purpose without urgency. I want to help create space for us to unfurl. Seeing + feeling the interconnectedness. The intrinsic knowledge that we, as humans, are not separate from the plants.

As it is an honor to welcome new humans to this world - I get a similar feeling as I greet the acotyledon who bursts through the soil. The womb of the earth. Why would be not hold their hand a nourish them the same way we do the human birther? That human birther who is of this earth.

Our actions have an impact on the natural world around us and I honor indigenous teachings of reciprocity. I believe that if we nourish nature,  tune in and just listen nature will in turn nourish us. Nature gives so freely but we must take great consideration with how we interact as to not extract. To observe, to bear witness helps us know. How can we take if we do not know - if we do not ask?

I do not take the power of plants for granted and believe in their capabilities as allies to help us find wholeness.

It is an honor to to help ground birthers and help them them find their power.
It is an honor to know plants and see the magick they behold as well.
It is an honor to share my knowings with those who trust.

This goes so much deeper for me and I hope to share more as I find ways to articulate in the future.
